Old Civil War SwordUp for auction is a civil war period calvary sword. Thsi sword is 41-3/4 long. It has a curve to the blade. The blade is stmaped tiffany & co. New york on one side and it is stamped fdl on the other side with a dotted circle around it.This tiffany's sword has an iron hilt, it is not bras like most civil war swords. It is authentic in every way and i will guarantee it to be so. It also has a leather wrapped wooden handle with guilded wire over it. The leather si detiorated in a few spots. The wire is still in tatc as most of the leather is. There are no stamps that i can see on the hilt that i can see or anywhere else that i haven't mentioned. The sword blade is 3/8 thick at teh thickest part. The hilt to the end of the handle is 6 long. If you have any questions about this itme or any problems with this listing. Please contact me.
